Psychotherapy

You're right, sometimes this sounds scary.

Ever since The Bates Motel closed for business, the word Psycho has had unfortunate associations.  But don’t worry, it’s just a word, and there’s a definition from Miriam-Webster just to the right of this text.

From it you can see that all Psychotherapists are working with the breath of life itself.  In the same way that an athlete learns to use and control his or her breathing and muscles, we can learn to use and control our mental 'breath' and our thought processes, too.

A trained Psychotherapist will help identify what is causing your breath to catch, and will let you know why your thoughts sometimes ‘cough’ or ‘hiccough’, then make plans for exercises to allow for healthy, positive and productive mental breathing.  Of course, it has nothing to do with the lungs, but exercising the brain will help to train it to ‘breathe’ more efficiently and productively, and with a regular breath comes calmness, relaxation and focus - and ultimately control.

For weight loss, stopping smoking, self-confidence and self-esteem, hypnosis is your way forward.
